- I've been running on and off for the past 10 years, merely to stay active & healthy. My passion for running has really grown over the past year. I can proudly say that I am now a 5K Race Director as well. This past November, I co-directed the "Run For Your Life" 5K which benefited the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life (something I am also passionate about.) I trained for the Chicago Marathon last October, but wasn't able to participate due to illness. So now I'm currently registered to run my FIRST half marathon in March (Dallas Rock & Roll Half) and I couldn't be more excited about it!!
